Launching our brick and mortar April 3, 2017, Freckled Fox has been many years in the making. From thrifting for vintage suitcases to rummaging at the family farm for corrugated metal, every fixture has a story. Our 500 sq. ft. garage turned storefront in Spearfish, South Dakota, has been enhanced by these pieces creating a cozy, eclectic aesthetic.

Cheyenne McGriff connects people to places they can call home working as a full-time real estate agent with the Soderquist Team at RE/MAX Results. She is dedicated to helping her clients have a smooth and enjoyable transaction when making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives - buying or selling a home.
As director of SD CEO, Michelle provides business counseling and resource guidance to aspiring and established entrepreneurs. She and the SD CEO team are privileged to bring outstanding workshops, networking opportunities and conferences to professional women across the state while promoting entrepreneurship and leadership. Prior to joining SD CEO, Michelle owned Black Hills PR, a public relations firm she launched in 2011. Headquartered in Spearfish, Black Hills PR designed marketing, social media and PR programs for local, regional and national clients including three years traveling with a professional rodeo association.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Advertising from San Jose State University and is a 4 th generation Californian who says that she “found her spot” in Spearfish.
You can find Michelle at the creek, lake or pool with her son Jack, on the golf course with husband Mike, on her front porch with friends or in her garden, weeding and listening to podcasts.
Philippe was born in the South West of France and moved to SD five years ago, where he now lives with his wife and two kids. After teaching for ten years in France, he now works as a consultant and project manager in the field of radio type-approvals and regulatory compliance. Philippe loves everything related to design: drawing, sketching, painting, website and logo design. He designed the logos of Nelson Law, Prairie Emporium in Sturgis, and you can find some of his designs at Black Hills Rally and Gold.
Sarah is the owner and designer of The Vintage Lease, a design and styling co. offering a fresh and thoughtfully curated approach to event planning and design--whether that be events, interior design, or brand styling. She is wildly passionate about cultivating beautiful and meaning places for people to connect and share life.
Scottie is a habitual planner and organizer, always looking for new ways to create experiences for others and for herself. She is the owner of Sturgis Yoga which hosts workshops, classes, and retreats to help people feel good, be good, and do good. She is also a co-organizer of the SD Yoga Conference which provides a top-notch conference experience with the intimate details of a local retreat.
As a Silver Wellness Advocate with dōTERRA Essential Oils, Stacey’s love of oils started almost 20 years ago and was the foundation of her families healthy living and becoming as Non-Toxic as possible. With a background in nursing and massage therapy, she has a great understanding of both the traditional and the alternative world of health and wellness. Her mission is to educate others on healthier living options and encourage empowerment in their own home and lives.
